hello Patriots this month is women's History Month join your Liberty library in celebrating the many contributions made by women to our country a collection of essays that profile women events and legislation they've had a serious impact on women's rights and freedom in the United States prisons cameos of 100 notable American women arranged chronologically from Virginia Dare the first English child born in America in 1587 Simmons named president of Smith college in 1995 the first African American woman to hold the post discusses the origins history purposed achievements and future of the women's rights movement history of the fight for women's voting rights beginning in 1848 with a focus on the years between 1913 and 1920 was passed and includes profiles of notable women in the struggle described the mini rolls assumed by women in the US after the country's entry into World War II combines text with vintage photographs advertisements cartoons and songs to examine how women have used bicycles throughout history to improve their life tell the story of the 1929 women's air Derby the first official all female air race in the u.s. describes the lives and what time for spies during the Civil War Sarah Emma Edmonds Bill Boyd calling koosman Rose O'Neal greenhow Elizabeth Van Lew and Bill Edmonson recounts the stories of 46 women throughout history who impacted the world when they were teenagers or younger Harriet Tubman Coco Chanel s.e.
