School Board Candidate Information
Burbank School District 111 will have three school board seats to be filled at the April 6, 2027 Consolidated Election. Candidates who are elected will fill four-year terms expiring in April 2031. Candidates for the office of school board can begin to circulate nominating petitions beginning August 25. The period for candidate filing is November 16 - 23. TalkingPoints Messaging Platform for Families
We are excited to announce that District 111 will be using TalkingPoints to communicate with parents and guardians. TalkingPoints is a two-way multilingual family engagement platform helping teachers and school leadership stay connected with families via text message. Next week, you will receive a message from your child’s school regarding TalkingPoints.
2026-2027 Bus Routes
AM and PM Bus Routes have been posted for our Elementary Schools and for Liberty Junior High School. Eligible students should have also received route information via email. A student is eligible for transportation if the student resides 1.5 miles or more from his/her assigned school or must cross a street determined to be a hazardous crossing.
