Principal's Message

Shwkar Abousweilem

Principal

Dr. Shwkar Abousweilem has been a Principal in District 111 for the past eight years at both Maddock and Burbank Schools. Additionally, she has served as the District’s EL Program Coordinator for several years. Dr. Abousweilem taught EL in District 111 for eight years prior to taking on an administrative role. She received her Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University and holds a Master’s Degree in English Literature from Chicago State University. She is excited about leading the team at Liberty Junior High School and looks forward to meeting the students and families.

This fun-filled event will feature a Healthy Farmers Market, Pumpkin Painting, Inflatable Mazes, and engaging school-themed fitness activities for all ages. Don’t miss the colorful and energetic COLOR FUN RUN at 10:30 am.
